President

Bob is the founder and President of Strategic Images. He has worked in the communications field for more than 40 years.

After graduation from college, Bob spent 15 years in the agency business working in the creative and account management areas for Ketchum Communications and Burson Marsteller. During those years, he worked on a variety of retail, package goods, commercial and industrial clients such as: 3M Corporation, Alcoa, Westinghouse, PPG Industries, H.J. Heinz Company, US Steel, Thrift Drug, Black and Decker Power Tools, US Airways and a variety of other local, regional and national accounts. At various times, he was responsible for new business, marketing, media and market research functions within the agencies.

In 1978, he moved to the other side of the business, taking over the advertising, public relations, employee communications and financial/investor communications for National Steel Corporation and its parent company, National Intergroup, Inc. He served in that capacity for nine years prior to starting his own agency in 1986.

Bob holds a B.A. degree in journalism from the Pennsylvania State University and an MBA in marketing from the Univeristy of Pittsburgh's Katz Graduate School of Business. He served as an adjunct professor for several years, teaching night classes at the University of Pittsburgh, Robert Morris and in Duquesne University's Graduate School of Communications. Among other courses, he taught marketing, advertising, presentation skills and ethics.
